The role:

To manage from notification to settlement an allocation of Tour Operators liability and Real Estate Claims.

Claims administration from notification to settlement
-
Dealing with queries from clients and insurers
-
Negotiating to reach the best settlement possible for our clients whilst maintaining a good relationship with insurers and claimants.

Preparation of claims experience for account handlers

Provide accurate technical advice on policy coverage and explain the correct claims process depending upon the insurer involved
Responsibilities:

Ensure that we retain our clients

Deliver a caring, personal, meticulous and professional service

Attend client meetings where appropriate both at renewal and post loss

Maintain accurate system records including amendments of reserves and reporting upwards where appropriate

Develop and maintain good relations with our partner insurers and keep abreast of market developments

Report and refer to the claims manager for guidance where appropriate

Attend to Continuous Personal Development

Adhere to the company service standards for new claims and post handling

Maintain an accurate claims diary system

Provide telephone cover for absences which may include non claims related calls

General admin duties including filing, photocopying and maintaining a clear desk working policy
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
