Opportunity with a Trusted Insurance Broker – Established Over 40 Years

Our client, a well-established and trusted insurance broker with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their team.
 

This role offers the chance to support clients from a wide range of industries across the UK—working with businesses of all sizes.
 

About the Client:
They are independent brokers who review the whole market to find and secure the best insurance policies for their clients.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure appropriate insurance cover for new business and renewals

  • Identify and highlight cross-sell opportunities and uninsured risks

  • Liaise with insurers and brokers on quotations, policies, and claims in line with service level agreements

  • Manage assigned renewals, mid-term adjustments (MTAs), and quotations following the company’s renewal process and placement strategy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external brokers to drive strategy and maximise opportunities
     

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in general insurance

  • Good knowledge of core insurance products and policies

  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service consistently

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
