Commercial Account Handler

Our client being an established national insurer and highly respected brand is looking to recruit an Account Handler for one of its regional branches.

 

The position will be to acquire and maintain knowledge of all Insurance products, including product licences and competencies for your role. Support the Branch, covering other roles as needed to maintain required levels of customer service within authority limits and to contribute to the effective and efficient running of the Branch.

 

Review, evaluate and process the portfolio of existing customers to ensure retention, and the generation of new business to maintain compliant and profitable growth and expand the companies reputation for excellent service. Will be selling collating, analysing and evaluating relevant customer personal, business and financial information to complete Fact Finds, provide information and recommend products and services that meet their needs in line within licensed authority.

 

Check, process and manage accounting transactions, including premium collection, policy cancellation refunds and non-payment of premiums, to prevent loss, prevent money laundering.

 

Possess good sales and customer service skills. Selling and have a good basic knowledge of insurance.
