An established and reputable London insurance broking company and independent financial advisers are looking to hire an experienced Account Handler.

Duties include:

 

• Booking and arranging a wide range of policy types to meet client needs with a 'never say no’ approach

• Handling premiums ranging from £600 - £30K being the bulk of the business. The highest premium handled is £400K being a single account

• Placement of new business both from internal referrals and client recommendations

• Building and maintaining client relationships by providing added value at each opportunity

• Dealing with a wide range of clients, including Solicitors, Fund Managers, Food/Drink Manufacturers, and Start-Ups (particularly in the Tech sector)

• Production of documentation for clients

• Preparing for and attending client review meetings

• Claims handling from notification to settlement on a wide variety of matters

• Leading the brokerage in placing Cyber cover for our clients

• Managing a book of business worth roughly £1.3m GWP

• knowledge of a broad range of insurance policies, including Casualty, Property, and Financial lines

• Maintaining and renewing a book of business worth roughly £200k in commission annually, with a 95%+ retention rate

• Placing the new business worth

• Experience with Acturis is desirable
