Financial Lines Account Handler

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a Lloyd's Brokerage in London who are looking to hire an Account Handler to look after a book of Financial Lines business. They offer an advisory, broking and claims management services to businesses and work with a wide range of organisations from SMEs to global corporations.

This is an Account Handling position which requires a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience and will report to the Head of Operations/COO.

Supporting the broking teams with the administration of their client’s insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, client file management, KYC checking, renewals, and mid-term adjustments. Support with all matters relating to the processing of risk and premium data and claims data. Liaise with Third Party processing teams, key stakeholders, and finance team. Liaise with underwriters, claim technicians and clients. Assist in achieving client retention targets by providing an excellent level of service. Monitor and issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty. Management and monitoring of continuous policy renewals and liaison with the finance department and underwriters to resolve outstanding issues.

Will be Cert CII qualified or working towards qualification, Experience using IBS (Broker Software) - desirable. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a similar account’s handler function/role. A quick learner and be comfortable working with multiple systems, Strong planning and organisational skills. Strong numerical skills - you will also have a proven capability using Excel Spreadsheets.
