John Williams Recruitment is delighted to be supporting our client, a successful MGA, in their search for an experienced High Net Worth / Private Clients Underwriter to join their London team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong broker relationships, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring all underwriting activity is completed accurately and within agreed SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage broker relationships with a high level of professionalism and customer service.

• Work collaboratively with the underwriting team to ensure timely completion of all tasks.

• Action mid-term adjustments and cancellations within SLA timeframes.

• Handle renewal queries promptly and effectively.

• Answer broker calls in a friendly, proactive, and professional manner.

• Underwrite within the agreed parameters of your delegated underwriting authority.

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Private Clients / High-Net-Worth underwriting.

• Dip CII or ACII qualifications are desirable but not essential.

• Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
