A small, specialist and rapidly growing Property Broker based in Hertfordshire and founded more than 20 years ago are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for their team.
Duties include: Signing Off monthly Insurer and Producer Commission Statements in conjunction with Accounts/Credit Control. Oversight of Delegated Authority Process with Ageas (and any future arrangements) File audits – 15% of new and renewal cases each month, across all Account Handlers, Accounts Executives and Senior Account Executives,
Handling the Annual Appraisal process for Account Handlers, Credit Control and Claims Handlers, together with the six monthly follow up. Initial Point of Contact with Acturis for system improvements, document creation, account management, and being Acturis Champion.
Insurer Liaison – arranging/chasing regular insurer meetings to monitor performance, and reporting back to the team. Credit Control where necessary on all accounts, in conjunction with the Credit Controller.
Account management including renewals for some key accounts (TBC), preparation of renewal presentations and reports. Broking of larger risks, including liaising with team and client on strategy and implementation.
Maintaining register of sub-broker/producer regulated status, Maintaining Insurer TOBA register.
Organising team meeting, including running the meeting in the absence of the CEO.
The successful person will have plenty of initiative and drive, as well as being organized and commercially minded. Business development and marketing skills would be a very welcome bonus.
Will be based in the office full time for the first six months to learn the ropes, with the opportunity for flexible working thereafter.
