Our client being an established MGA based in London subject to COVID restrictions, are looking to grow their Property Owners team.

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the profitability of the business and the group by selecting and underwriting quality Property risks located within the UK and throughout Europe.

​

The Underwriter will support the growth of the business by both renewing an existing portfolio of clients and securing new business through the application of their technical expertise. As a member of a small and closely knit team the Underwriter will support business innovation and development by contributing their own ideas on business strategy and by participating in or leading task or projects as and when required by the business.

Underwriting of existing and new property owners business whilst adhering to own licence. Meeting brokers to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Cat modelling analysis, co-ordinating risk management processes, preparing policy documentations and occasionally training and mentoring less experienced members of the team.
